Antonio Brown left the building.

In one of the strangest moments of the NFL season, the Buccaneers wide receiver abruptly removed his shoulder pads and undershirt and ran to the locker room at MetLife Stadium in the third quarter of the game of the week. Tampa Bay 17th with the New York Jets.

Here’s a video of the scene, which shows Brown removing his pads, tossing his undershirt and gloves into the stands and running to the locker room mid-game as the Bucs were on offense.

Brown, who had three catches for 26 yards on five targets at the time, apparently “ran over” and was “very upset” on the sidelines, according to FOX reporter Jen Hale.

Hale reported that Mike Evans and OJ Howard tried to convince Brown to keep his shoulder pads on before making his sudden exit. Here is another angle of the incident filmed by a fan in the stands.

It looks like head coach Bruce Arians put Brown on the bench, which led to the former New England Patriots wide receiver exploding.
