Capital Group Properties expands offerings to 300,000 square feet Maynard Crossing : NEREJ


Maynard, Mass. Jersey Mike’s sub-boutique, Semper Laser and Verizon Wireless have signed leases at Maynard Crossing, a new 300,000 square foot mixed-use development anchored by Market Basket, according to Capital Group Properties. These new leases will further expand development offerings on the heels of grand openings at Maynard Family Dental and Maynard Veterinary Care in May, as well as Bueno Y Sano.

Semper Laser will offer state-of-the-art laser hair removal technology in a new 1,200 square foot suite, located at 5 Digital Way. Jersey Mike’s will occupy 1,300 square feet at 3 Digital Way near Emerson Hospital, adding to the sub-store’s franchise portfolio of more than 2,000 locations since the company began in 1956. Verizon Wireless will move from one mall nearby at the new 1,549 s/f store in the same building as Jersey Mike’s.

Capital Group is about to inaugurate phase II of Maynard Crossing.

Phase II includes the construction of two new buildings that will provide an additional 46,000 square feet of retail space to accommodate multiple tenants of varying sizes. This phase will continue to reinforce Maynard Crossing’s identity as a gathering place with expanded green spaces, ponds and courtyards.

The new 1,800-square-foot Bueno Y Santo marks the eighth location for the fast-casual Mexican restaurant, which was founded in Mass.

Maynard Family Dental opened the new 2,800 square foot office in Maynard Crossing last month, moving from downtown Maynard. Maynard Veterinary Care’s new 5,400 square foot office provides high quality veterinary services for cats and dogs, from wellness exams to laboratory services and surgery.

Maynard Crossing, located at 2-16 Digital Way, began in 2019. The development incorporates two new residential communities, including Halstead Maynard Crossing, a 180-unit luxury apartment complex, and Camellia Gardens, an upscale detached residence of 143 units. community, as well as a synergy of retail, restaurant, healthcare and entertainment tenants.
